Plymouth College of Art, Alumni Summer Residency 2014
In 2014 I was invited back to Plymouth College of Art to take part in the Alumni Summer Residency.
I designed and exhibited an interactive installation located in the main gallery space. The installation was an experiment to see if observers could recognise shapes, patterns or faces from randomly generated static noise. Observers were able to control the resolution, speed of the generation and the amount of colour
The idea behind the installation was to observe the effects of Pareidolia and to discover which blend of resolution, colour and speed give the best results.
